Learn all about Mariachi and perform with us! Our Intro to Mariachi classes are perfect for beginners of any age and will teach you all you need to know about playing violin and guitar. Even if you do not wish to play mariachi, this is a FUN way for kids to learn how to play two of our most requested instruments!
Our Intro to Mariachi classes teach students:
- how to read music
- how to play common Mariachi techniques
- play in multiple keys
- sing! all Mariachis MUST sing!
- learn the history of Mariachi and Folklorico
- all applicable skills for playing stringed instruments that translate directly to all other types of playing
Intro to Mariachi
Costs:
Classes are only $15 per month. There is a $25 registration fee to help cover printing costs. All music is provided.
For performances, students will need to have:
- white button down shirt, with long sleeves and a collar
- black pants
- black shoes
- sash, moño, and hair clip (we order in bulk for discount pricing and communicate cost at that time, total cost approximately $40)
